Christmas Day or Día de Navidad is a public holiday in Fuerteventura and is on is on December 25th. Should this day fall on a Saturday or Sunday, the following Monday will officially be a holiday.
You can use the phrase "Feliz Navidad" to say "Merry Christmas" in Spanish.
Public transport operates a Sunday timetable, banks and government offices are usually closed along with certain shops including supermarkets, especially those located outside of the main tourist resorts.
